After training at prestigious estates, Benoît Roche took over the family estate in a Pierres Dorées village in 2017. Committed to respecting biodiversity, he began converting the vines to organic viticulture in 2019.

Benoît is the 4th generation to run the Champ de la Croix family estate. Free visits and tastings by appointment for private customers. Quality has been at the heart of the domaine's concerns since 2001, with the first parcel selections. The domaine is particularly proud of its white Beaujolais wines, which boast great aromatic complexity: the Roche family has a wealth of experience, since the first plantings of Chardonnay date back to 1996.
Before taking over the domaine, Benoît Roche worked at Château de Chassagne-Montrachet, then at Châteaux de Meursault, Marsannay, and Corton C, to perfect his skills.
Today, he is totally committed to preserving the terroir and the environment. All plots are grassed to encourage the development of biodiversity and flora and fauna. And the estate has been certified Organic since 2022.
All parcels are harvested by hand to respect the integrity of the grapes and guarantee optimal quality for the vinification process.
Among the numerous cuvées (Beaujolais and Brouilly appellations, Crémant de Bourgogne and Pétillant rosé), the domaine even offers a "sulfur-free" cuvée, with low-temperature vinification and no inputs whatsoever: fermentation takes place using only the indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
